Description

Steven Geray stars in this 1940s drama directed by Joseph H. Lewis. When French police detective Henri Cassin (Geray) takes a long overdue holiday, he unexpectedly falls in love with Nanette (Micheline Cheirel), the daughter of innkeeper Pierre Michaud (Eugene Borden). Although Nanette already has a boyfriend, she and Henri become engaged. When Nanette is found murdered, Henri immediately suspects Nanette's ex-boyfriend of the crime, but when a police sketch reveals someone else's identity, how will Henri react?
