This book explores the critical role of transnational fishers’ movements in the politics of global fisheries. This is the 8th book in the Critical Development Studies series.Global politics around fisheries are complex and contentious. Embedded within this sector, small-scale fishers’ movements are continuouslyconfronted with new actors, issues and conflicting interests. Yet, these movements and their political agendas have played a critical role in global fisheries.
