Double bill of British thrillers. When airport cargo handler Tom Matthews (Watling) finds himself heavily in debt he is vulnerable to the approaches of a criminal gang who want to know the location of gold bullion at Heathrow. Will they - and Tom - get away with the crime? In 'Dead Man's Evidence' (1962), directed by Francis Searle, spy David Baxter (Conrad Phillips) is posted to Ireland when the body of a fellow British agent washes up on a beach. Evidence emerges that the agent in question may have been supplying information to the Russians, drawing Baxter into the murky waters of an international espionage investigation.
