Waris Hussein directs this British drama starring Mark Lester and Tracy Hyde. After falling in love with his classmate Melody (Hyde), ten-year-old schoolboy Daniel (Lester) announces his intention to marry her as soon as possible. His plans are met with opposition from his parents and his best friend Ornshaw (Jack Wild), who is jealous of the attention Daniel has been giving Melody.
