New Zealand drama co-written and directed by Roger Donaldson. The film follows Al Shaw (Bruno Lawrence), a former racing driver left devastated when his wife Jacqui (Anna Jemison) has an affair with local police officer Ray Foley (Keith Aberdein). After Jacqui leaves him and takes their daughter Georgie (Greer Robson) with her, Al hatches a plan to kidnap Georgie and go into hiding. However, when Georgie becomes sick and in need of medication, Al is forced to come out of hiding as the police close in around him.
