Drama co-directed by Simon Beaufoy and Billie Eltringham. Eleven-year-old Catherine (Keri Arnold) keeps skipping school and going to the Yorkshire moors to play with her new friend Uma (Kavita Sungha). Her parents are too busy looking after their son, who is seriously ill with leukaemia, to take notice of Catherine's disappearances. When the two girls witness a strange light on the moors one day, Catherine is convinced that it means her brother will be cured. However, her parents are annoyed by her claims, believing that she is seeking attention and giving them false hope. The cast also includes Kerry Fox and Stephen Dillane.
