Description
1970s crime drama starring Richard Burton, Ian McShane and Nigel Davenport. Based on James Barlow's novel 'The Burden of Proof', the film follows East End gangster Vic Dakin (Burton) as he plans what he hopes will be a lucrative heist, while also struggling to get to grips with his sexuality. Meanwhile, his long-suffering mother (Cathleen Nesbitt) attempts to keep her wayward and vicious son in line.
