World War Two romantic drama. In occupied Poland, young German officer Oscar (Jonathan Scarfe) begins a relationship with Rachel (Nina Dobrev), the daughter of a local rabbi. As their friendship develops into a full-blown love affair, the star-crossed lovers become separated when the German Army begins its 'cleansing' of the Polish countryside.
