Steven Weber stars in this family drama directed by Mark Jean. When Terry Polesky (Weber) is discharged from the army on grounds of poor health he fears that there is nothing left to live for. The only thing keeping him from going insane as the memories of battle torment his dreams is his dutiful dog Duke. Unable to face his family anymore, Terry and Duke set off on a trip with no end destination. When tragedy strikes and Duke is taken ill Terry has no choice but to abandon him at the vet's surgery as he has no way of paying the bills. When Duke finally pulls through the vet goes to great lengths to reunite Duke with his loving owner. Will they find him?
