She reluctantly agrees to join a group of patients on an outing into New York City but when aliens arrive on Earth and begin laying waste to humanity, she is caught in the apocalyptic chaos. It quickly becomes apparent that the aliens cannot see but have excellent hearing and the only way to survive is to stay silent.
