Daniel Mays stars in this biographical drama directed by Fergus O'Brien. Journalist Peter Wildeblood (Mays) was one of the first people in Britain to publicly declare his homosexuality. In the 1950s when homosexuality was illegal, Wildeblood and his friends Michael Pitt-Rivers (Josh Collins) and Lord Montagu of Beaulieu (Mark Edel-Hunt) were arrested, tried and imprisoned. This case led to an inquiry and Wildeblood, who was determined to fight for a change to the law, testified to the Wolfenden committee, which ultimately recommended the decriminalisation of homosexuality in Britain. The cast also includes Richard Gadd, Mark Gatiss and David Robb.
