Low budget American sci-fi action drama starring Eric Roberts. An international summit is called to come up with a united effort to divert an asteroid headed for earth. However, the meeting descends into petty nationalist debates and concludes with news that the Russian military intend to fire a nuclear weapon at the asteroid, threatening to shatter it into smaller pieces which would create further chaos. Meanwhile, Alexandra Svoboda (Veronika Issa) leads a small team of experts who attempt to divert the course of the crater. However, their efforts are hindered by religious zealots who believe that the collision is a sign from God.
