Description

Drama written and directed by Jane Campion which follows the relationship between the poet John Keats (Ben Whishaw) and his muse Fanny Brawne (Abbie Cornish). Their romance begins slowly but soon their feelings for each other intensify and Keats agrees to teach Fanny about poetry. Fanny's mother (Kerry Fox) is initially unsupportive of the relationship but she is unable to stop them from growing closer to each other. Having fallen in love, they become engaged, but when John contracts tuberculosis, tragedy awaits.
