1950s Japanese satirical comedy drama directed by Yasuzo Masumura. Young marketing executive Yôsuke Nishi (Hiroshi Kawaguchi) is eager to impress his boss, Goda (Hideo Takamatsu), at World Caramel, and recruits 18-year-old Kyoko Shima (Hitomi Nozoe) to be the face of the company's new advertising campaign. Meanwhile, an escalating advertising war erupts between World Caramel and their competitors at Giant and Apollo, and Nishi finds himself at the centre of the conflict when he is tasked with uncovering information about the rival companies' campaigns.
