1950s romantic drama following a man and a woman of different social classes who face scandal when their secret relationship is revealed. Factory worker Jenny Hawthorne (Lisa Daniely) falls for her employer's son, Alan Jeffcote (Brian Worth), who is already engaged to be married. While holidaying in Blackpool with friends, the pair run away together but their parents find out the truth about their tryst.
