1960s drama in which a couple on holiday in Tangiers find themselves caught up in a mystery involving a missing woman and the slave trade. Stephen Armstrong (George Nader) and his wife Marie (Ann Smyrner) are horrified when they hear that a woman known to them, the beautiful Diane (Maria Rohm), has gone missing. They duly agree to help investigate and come across conniving magician Manderville (Vincent Price) and his assistant Rebecca (Martha Hyer), who appear to be affiliated to a mysterious place known as the 'House of 1,000 Dolls'. Have the pair been using their hypnotic abilities for evil purposes?
