Drama set in Paris starring Kirstin Scott Thomas and Lambert Wilson. Young adult Mathieu Malinski (Jules Benchetrit) finds himself caught up in petty criminal activity and is sentenced to community service. However, when Pierre Geithner (Wilson) hears Mathieu playing the piano at a public train station he is astounded at Malinski's talent and offers him an opportunity to study at the prestigious Paris Conservatory.
