Social media obsessed Ingrid Thorburn (Plaza) spends her days stalking unsuspecting people on the Internet. When she discovers Taylor Sloane (Olsen) who appears to have the perfect life, Ingrid quickly develops an obsession for the so-called influencer, even relocating her life to California just to be near her. As she manages to worm her way into Taylor's life by returning her escaped dog, Ingrid becomes determined to make Taylor her new best friend.
