Description

James Purefoy and Aneurin Barnard star in this drama co-written and directed by John Stephenson. The film follows renowned Austrian composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Barnard) as he travels to Prague to create his new opera Don Giovanni at the Nostitz Theatre. Brought to the city by powerful aristocrat Baron Saloka (Purefoy), Mozart soon meets and falls in love with beautiful young soprano Zuzanna Luptak (Morfydd Clark). However, with Zuzanna already betrothed to Saloka, Mozart soon finds himself in great danger as the treacherous baron looks to get his revenge. The cast also includes Samantha Barks, Adrian Edmondson and Trent Garrett.
