Sequel to the 2003 Bollywood comedy 'Munnabhai MBBS', also directed by Rajkumar Hirani. When underworld crime boss Munna Bhai (Sanjay Dutt) falls head over heels in love with radio broadcaster Jahnvi (Vidya Balan), he decides to engineer a meeting with her by assuming the identity of a professor specialising in the life and times of Mahatma Gandhi in order to take part in a competition held by her radio station. He soon discovers that none other than Gandhi himself (Dilip Prabhavalkar) has turned up in person to help him win Jahnvi's heart - and to employ principles of truth and non-violence to deal with a corrupt builder, Lucky Singh (Boman Irani), who has set his sights on the valuable property where Jahnvi lives with six elderly family members.
