Jessica Hausner directs this drama starring Emily Beecham and Ben Whishaw. Alice (Beecham) works as a plant breeder with a corporation who have created a house plant that supposedly works as an anti-depressant and releases pollen that makes its owner happy. However, when she sneaks a plant home to give to her son, Joe (Kit Connor), she comes to notice changes in his behaviour. As her work colleague, Chris (Whishaw), also begins to behave differently she begins to suspect that the plant may be responsible for these adverse changes in behaviour.
