Documentary directed by John Warrington depicting the rise of footballers Viv Anderson, Garry Birtles and Tony Woodcock in the 1970s. All three are working-class men from Nottingham who fought their way to the top despite the obstacles they faced, which included rampant racism and discrimination. Eventually they succeeded in graduating from playing local junior football to winning the European Cup twice with Nottingham Forest in 1979 and 1980.
