Description

Warren Beatty and Julie Christie star in this American Western directed by Robert Altman. In 1902, John McCabe (Beatty) turns up in the north-west mining town of Presbyterian Church, Washington, starts gambling and sets up a successful brothel with his opium-addicted girlfriend Constance Miller (Christie). They refuse an offer from a mining company to buy them out, but the mine bosses refuse to take no for an answer and hire three bounty hunters to dispatch McCabe for his trouble.
