US biographical drama written and directed by Marc Meyers. Struggling to cope with his parent's fighting and his unhappy school life, high school student Jeffrey Dahmer begins acting out as he becomes increasingly isolated from his peers. After developing an unhealthy obsession with a local runner and collecting dead animals to dissolve to their bones, Jeffrey catches the eye of fellow student and budding artist John 'Derf' Backderf (Alex Wolff) who convinces Jeffrey to let him draw him as part of his graphic novel. However, as their final year in high school comes to a close, Jeffrey's thoughts start to turn deadly as he begins planning to make his sinister fantasies become a reality.
