Description

George Peppard and Deborah Raffin star in this made-for-TV war drama. During a rehearsal for the D-Day landings, a US Army Colonel, holding plans for the invasion, is captured by the Germans so the Allies send in Special Operations Executive officer Harry Martineau (Peppard) and nurse Sarah Drayton (Raffin) to rescue or eliminate him. Posing as SD Standartenführer Max Vogel and his French mistress, Martineau and Drayton are smuggled into France and make their way to Jersey where they hatch their plan to evacuate the captured officer.
