Feature documentary by film-maker Robert Mugge about the independent record label Alligator Records. Founded by Bruce Iglauer in 1972, Alligator Records quickly became known as one of the most esteemed labels for modern blues. In 1992, the 20th anniversary of Alligator Records, Iglauer, along with several of the labels most successful artists, went on tour to celebrate the landmark. In this documentary, Robert Mugge presents highlights from a concert recorded on that tour in Philadelphia, a sneak peak inside the label offices in Chicago and profiles of some of the artists and backstage staff.
