Oded Binnun and Mihal Brezis co-direct this family drama set between Scotland and America, starring Brian Cox. After being diagnosed with a terminal illness Rory MacNeil (Cox) leaves his Hebridean home to travel to San Francisco with hopes of finding a cure. Once there he reunites with his estranged son Ian (JJ Feild) and his family, wife Emily (Thora Birch) and young baby boy. Rory's stubborn ways lead to many confrontations but as he realises his health is not improving he tries to make the most of his time with his family and in particular forms a special bond with his grandson. The cast also features Rosanna Arquette.
