Jeff Nichols writes and directs this drama about a man whose extreme anxiety escalates into delusion and paranoia. Michael Shannon stars as Curtis, a blue-collar Midwestern family man tormented by apocalyptic nightmares and hallucinations in which he sees a terrible storm coming to bring harm to himself, his wife Samantha (Jessica Chastain) and their deaf six-year-old daughter Hannah (Tova Stewart).
