Bernardo Bertolucci directs this erotic drama based on the novel 'The Holy Innocents: A Romance' by Gilbert Adair. Set against the backdrop of a politically turbulent Paris in 1968, the film tells the story of Matthew (Michael Pitt), an American student, who befriends twins Theo (Louis Garrel) and Isabelle (Eva Green) at a political demonstration.
