Japanese anime based on the novel by Sachiko Kashiwaba. After the Tohoku earthquake destroys 17-year-old Yui (voice of Mana Ashida)'s town, she becomes a homeless wanderer. She meets 8-year-old Hiyori (Sari Awano), an orphan who lost her remaining family in the disaster and no longer speaks. They have nowhere to go until Kiwa (Shinobu Otake) finds them and takes them home to a mythical house that can only be found by those in need and which provides its inhabitants with hospitality and good fortune.
