Filippo Meneghetti directs and co-writes this drama starring Barbara Sukowa and Martine Chevallier. Elderly neighbours Madeleine Girard (Chevallier) and Nina (Sukowa) are involved in a romantic relationship and have been for two decades. As they consider their future however, Nina grows increasingly frustrated by Madeleine's refusal to inform her two adult children, Anne (Léa Drucker) and Frédéric (Jérôme Varanfrain) about the true nature of their relationship. When Madeleine suffers a heart attack Anne and Frédéric become concerned by the overbearing actions of Nina, who is devastated at her lover's ill-health and her inability to be by her side.
