Tommy Bertelsen directs this horror in which a woman returns to her Latvian home with her daughter to visit her ailing father, when strange occurrences force her to seek help. As Madeline (Kristen Ruhlin) begins to feel as though she is losing control of her sense of self, she is sent to a convent of nuns who will carry out religious and spiritual tests to determine the cause of her violent behaviour.
